There was panic in the Olu Obasanjo road area of Port Harcourt on Saturday morning along popular Ikoku market as business owners and residents discovered a lifeless body of a man with multiple machete cuts, side of buttocks and penis chopped off.
The corpse was sighted in infront of a new generation bank located at Ayama junction along Olu-Obasanjo road Port Harcourt.
Eyewitnesses who saw the corpse wasdisclosed that his stomach was ripped open and intestine removed .
One of the eyewitness told our correspondent that the multiple matchet cuts on the body suggested that the dead man was murdered.
He stated that they were surprised to discover the body on Saturday morning, as it wasn’t there the previous day.
The eyewitness who pleaded anonymity, added that the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
